Warm Greetings from Hotel Lindsay!!!!

Two of the pertinent Questions asked to fresh professionals, aspiring to build a career in Hotel Industry, during their interview are (a) How does hotel industry differ from others? and b) What is most perishable in Hotel Industry? Believe me , you would notice a glitter in the eyes of your interviewer if your answer to the first Question is –‘… in comparison to other industry , what strikes is that in Hotel industry there’s hardly any day that passes as lull; it’s a 365 days happening place,it’s all booming.’ and if your short and precise answer to the second question is – ‘Room!’

Along with the rapid industrial growth and promotion of tourism, the catering and hotel sector is booming and offering huge job prospects. Fierce competition and fight to rank on the number one position is leading the leaders of this industry to contemplate on ideas and innovate successful hospitality products and services every day. In such circumstances, Human Resource has a major role to play. I believe, HR can help to sustain the ‘wow’ aspect in the feeling of the guests when they step in .Infact, the two aspects on which we prefer to meditate are –the quality of service and the whole atmosphere of the hotel. It is very important for us to pick upbeat, dedicated workers for each position.We are on the look for people who have not a mere ambition but a ‘dream’ of running or serving in a hotel environment.

Sales Executive
 - 5 ys. exp. in Hotel with excellent selling skill.

F & B Manager - 10 ys. exp. in similar position with hotel management background, leadership quality, capable for planning, executing entire F & B operations including bar, restaurant, banquets, in room dinning, achieving set targets, cost control measures and optimum guests satisfaction.

F & B controller - 7 ys. exp. in similar position with hotel management background having sound knowledge in F & B production and able to achieve desired F & B cost.

F & B Executive - 5 ys. exp. in similar position with hotel management background, sound knowledge in F & B.

Captain – 2 to 3 ys. exp. in similar position in Hotel with hotel management background.

Sr. Accounts Executive – 5 ys. exp. B.Com (Hons.) (Preferably from Hotel Industry).

Accounts Executive - 3 ys. exp. B.Com (Hons.) (Preferably from Hotel Industry)

Accounts Assistant- 2 ys. exp. B.Com. (Pass / Hons.). (Preferably from hotel industry).

Store Assistant – 2 ys. exp. in store in Hotel with B.Com. background.

Electrician - 1 yr. exp. Madhyamik pass, ITI / 440V work permit from WB licencing Board, Must have handled fittings and network, to work in shift.

Housekeeping Supervisor – 2 to 3 yrs. exp. in similar position in Hotel with hotel management back ground.

Indian Cook – 5 to 7 ys. exp. in hotel with Hotel Management background.

Also required Industrial Trainees & Job Trainees for all department.

Hotel and catering Management Institutes are welcome for placing students.

Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience. 

Except electrician computer knowledge (preferably with IDS package) and English language is essential.
